12. 4th of July jammies (Myles was already asleep, but he had some too!). thanks everyone who helped make them.
We can hardly wait until next year. The water balloon fight will be bigger and better and so will the fireworks! Hope everyone else had a great time too!
Springville City, Rotary Club-sponsored Easter Egg Hunt. Waiting for the hunt to begin. Candy was scattered all over the football field. Just what dreams are made of right? candycandycandy.
Little bit cold, but the girls are excited. Then Rotary Club guy announces that there are hidden plastic eggs throughout the field. If you find one you win a fabulous prize (big ones too, like bikes!). Brenna is even more excited. For sure she is going to find an egg. In fact, she is not going to pick up any pointless candy, her sole concentration is going to be on hunting down the elusive plastic egg!
Guess which one got a basket full of candy? Guess which one didn't find a plastic egg afterall? Guess which one spent too much time looking for an egg that when finally persuaded to get candy instead it was all gone? Guess which one said "I didn't have any fun. Easter is ruined!"?
Thanks a lot Rotary Club! It was a blast! On a happier note...Grandpa Kim took everyone out for lunch at the Brick Oven. Then sadie got to come over for a fun dress up play date. So maybe easter was saved afterall....then again, the easter bunny didn't come to our house Sunday morning, so easter was ruined again...poor Brenna. There's always next year....
So obviously a lot has happened since I last posted. Halloween came and went. I had a birthday (the big 30!!!). Thanksgiving came and went. Jessica finally had her baby. Brenna performed in 4 school christmas programs. Brenna performed in a chrismtas nativity dance recital. Christams came and went. New Years came and went. And Brenna attended her very first friend birthday party. Hopefully that catches you all up....until next time...may it be sooner than 4 months.
Brenna getting ready for the princess birthday party. Can you tell she's wearing lipstick? She won't smile normal for fear of making it come off. Oh how that girl loves lipstick...
No, I am not pregnant.....I was just wondering if my five year old girl could still be considered a baby. NO? Wrong answer! She will be my baby forever, she even told me so. Happy birthday my sweet Brenna baby. I love you so much!
THE DRESS (thanks mom, for making Brenna's dress, even if she did look like a pioneer, she loved it! It was awesome!) THE HAIRTHE WATER BALLOON FIGHT (sorry, no pictures. But my mom lost. I think a water balloon fight should become our new forth of july tradition. It was great fun) THE GLOW STICKS (I swear my mom bought like 99,000 glow sticks) NOW YOU SEE HERNOW YOU DON'TTHE FIREWORKS (can you see that the sadium is indeed on fire?) THE END Hope you all enjoyed your holiday.
